Convert the SSP without breaking the one your contracts still need.

Your Rev. 2 SSP is a contractual artifact — DoD work still depends on it. Converting to Rev. 3 is therefore a controlled restructuring that preserves the old view, not a rewrite that abandons it. Here's the method.

Before you touch the document

The five conversion passes

Maintaining both views

Until your last Rev. 2 contract closes out, you need both documents truthful simultaneously. The workable pattern: the Rev. 3 SSP becomes primary, with the frozen Rev. 2 SSP maintained as a derived view — changes flow through the crosswalk so an update lands in both. What doesn't work is two documents edited independently; they diverge within a quarter. Full operating model in dual-baseline operations.

Converted, not rewritten

SSP conversion is Station 03 of our Rev. 3 transition.

Structure mapping, statement conversion, dispositions, ODP embedding, and evidence re-pointing — executed on a fixed scope with your Rev. 2 view preserved. Or email rj@indirectit.com directly.
